MAKING CREDIT UNION MEMBERS' VOICES HEARD

DID YOU KNOW?
Banks are providing misinformation to our elected officials and asking Congress to put credit unions out of business by taxing credit unions. They want to eliminate credit unions as a choice for you, and competition for them, in an effort to increase profits for their stockholders.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
As a member of Public Service Credit Union, you can join the Grassroots Advocacy Team for free to protect credit unions and your credit unions benefits. This group is comprised of credit union owners who are committed to working together to defend credit unions and help them grow.

As a member of the Grassroots Advocacy Team, you’ll:

  • Receive an e-news publication called Center Link with pertinent news to Colorado credit unions.
  • Have numerous opportunities to defend your credit union benefits, such as writing letters to the editor of your local paper or attending credit union sponsored events. You’ll also receive various tools-sample letters, message points and information on hearings, meetings and issues.
  • Be informed on which elected officials support credit union benefits - and which ones don't - letting you make up your own mind about who to support at election time.
