My Account Home Banking

My Account Home Banking is like having a virtual branch at your fingertips, where you can monitor and control your finances 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere you have Internet access.

With My Account Home Banking you can:

  • View your balance and available balance
  • View check images
  • View your transaction history
  • Transfer money between your accounts
  • Schedule transfers
  • Download your transactions
  • View your mortgage balance and payment information
  • Stop payment on a check
  • Reorder checks
  • View your credit score quarterly

How to Sign Up
To sign up for My Account Home Banking, you must first complete a one-time security update by following these simple steps:

  • On the home page, click on the Sign Up button located in the My Account oval.
     
  • Enter your PSCU Member Account Number and Access Code.
    Your temporary Access Code is the primary account owner's social security number (no dashes) followed by the first two letters (in lowercase) of their last name. (Example: 123456789ab) You will need to create your own unique Access Code after the initial sign up process.
     
  • Enter the Random Code as you see it in the Random Code box. Click Next.
    Example:
    Ignore the grey-colored PSCU watermark in the background. In the example above, you would only enter 2w26t. The Random Code is case-sensitive. A unique Random Code will be randomly generated each time you login.
     
  • Review the Internet Banking Disclosure. You must accept the Terms and Conditions by checking the I Accept button to continue.
     
  • Create three (3) Security Questions/Answers.
    You will be required to answer one of these three questions when you login to your account. You may create your own questions/answers or use the default questions provided.
     
  • Create a Security Key.
    Use a unique set of characters, word or phrase that you can use to identify our site. Do not use your Access Code, PINs or passwords. You will never be asked to enter the security key again, however it will be featured during the login process and on all My Account Home Banking pages as a visual confirmation that you are on our web site.
     
  • Enter your email address. Click Finalize.
    This is optional, however, we recommend you enter your email address so that we may respond to your email inquiries. PSCU will not send you unsolicited promotional emails, nor will we sell your information to a third party.
     
  • You are now set up for My Account Home Banking. You may now login to view your account.

How to Login
After you sign up and complete the one-time security update, follow these simple steps to login to your account:

  • On the home page, click on Login located in the My Account oval.
     
  • Enter your Account Number and the Random Code as you see it in the Random Code box. Click Next.
     
  • Enter the answer to the Security Question. Click Next.
    Enter your answer exactly as you entered it when you created your account.
    If you click Remember my computer, you will not be asked a security question the next time you login. Only remember the computer if it is your personal computer.

     
  • Visually verify that the Security Key displayed is the one you created.
     
  • Enter your Access Code. Click Next.
     
  • You are now logged in and may view and manage your account.
     
  • We strongly recommend for your security that you change your Access Code at this time. To do so, click Options and then Change Access Code in the My Account menu.

Why all this attention to security?
While the chances of identity theft or monetary loss are slim, there are malicious individuals who look to fraudulently gain from unsuspecting individuals. One of the most popular methods of fraud is through impersonating individuals during the login process. It is our intention to make this process as difficult as possible while keeping your experience as hassle-free as possible.

What if I don't know or forgot my Access Code?
If you are setting up a new home banking account, your temporary Access Code is the primary account owner's social security number (no dashes) followed by the first two letters (in lowercase) of their last name. (Example: 123456789ab)
If you are a joint account owner, the primary owner must first set up the account with their social security number. You will then need to obtain the Access Code from the primary account owner.

What if I don't know the answer to the Security Question?
Since the three Security Questions rotate, please start over and try to login again. If you are able to login, change your Security Questions/Answers by clicking on Authentication Questions under the Options menu. If you are still unable to login, please call our Communication Center at (303) 691-2345 or (800) 437-7328, or stop by one of our conveniently located branches for help.

What if my account is frozen?

Can I change my Access Code, Security Questions/Answers, or my Security Key?
Yes. Once you login to My Account, you can change these settings under the Options menu.

What is the Security Key?
The Security Key is a security measure which allows you to verify you have reached our home banking site and not a "phishing" site. After you create your Security Key, it will be featured during the login process and on the My Account pages as a visual confirmation. If you do not see the Security Key or it is not the one you created, then you are not at our site. If this happens, please contact the Communication Center immediately at (303) 691-2345 or (800) 437-7328.

Tips for Creating a Security Key:

  • Use a unique set of characters or word(s) that you can use to identify our site.
  • Do not use PINs or Passwords.

What is the Random Code?
The Random Code is an extra security measure used to eliminate fraudsters from randomly selecting account numbers. It is randomly generated each time you try to login.

What kind of transactions can I do within My Account?
You can view your balance, transfer money, view cleared checks, access your statements, reorder checks, sign up and access Bill Pay, view your credit score, and much more!

Can I download my account information from My Account?
Yes. You can download your account information using OFX (Quicken), QIF (MS Money, Quicken), Excel, or CSV formats. To access this feature, login to My Account and click on Download under the Accounts menu.

What does "Remember this computer" mean?
If you choose to remember your computer, you will not be prompted to answer the security question during future logins. You will still have to enter in your Account Number, Access Code, and the Random Code. You can remember your computer after you have completed the initial enrollment and login. The system uses a secure cookie to recognize a remembered computer. If you delete your browser cookies on your computer, you will have to re-remember the computer. The secure cookie will periodically expire on your computer and will require you to remember your computer again.

What does "Do not remember this computer" mean?
If you are using a computer that is accessed by numerous users, we recommend that you do not remember your account on computer. We only recommend you remember your personal computer at home.

What is a secure cookie?
A secure cookie is a small text file that is placed on a computer to help identify the user. If you select Remember this computer, a cookie will be stored on your computer allowing you to bypass your security questions during future logins. The secure cookie will periodically expire on your computer and will require you to remember your computer again.

Can I remember my account on another computer?
Yes. You can remember your account on more than one computer.

Can more than one account be remembered on the same computer?
Yes. You can remember numerous accounts on the same computer. This will bypass the security questions when you login.

Do I have to re-remember my computer when I delete my cookies?
Yes. The system uses your computer hardware and software information to recognize you are a legitimate user. If you delete your cookies, the information is no longer available to authenticate your login. You will be prompted to answer one of your security questions.

Why do I have to remember again when I use a separate browser on the same computer?
When you remember your account on a computer, it stores software and hardware information used to access My Account. The system stores information like your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox) and operating system (Windows XP, Macintosh). If you access My Account with a different browser or operating system, you are required to remember again as a security measure.

Can I transfer funds between two different accounts?
Yes. To set up this transaction, all you need to do is complete an authorization form. To obtain this form, please call our Communication Center at (303) 691-2345 or (800) 437-7328, or stop by one of our conveniently located branches for help.

What is the difference between balance and available balance?
The difference between the actual balance and the available balance in an account depends on the type of account.
For a savings account, certificate of deposit, or money market account, the difference is the minimum balance requirement.
For a checking account, the difference could be a minimum balance requirement. It could also be outstanding or pending VisaŽ Check Card charges, since your available balance reflects real-time transactions, while your balance does not.
For all types of accounts, the difference between the actual balance and the available balance could be due to check holds that are placed at the time a deposit is made.
